"Leadership is focusing on solutions and not who is right."
Peachtree City is a lifestyle for most of us that live here. In order to keep Peachtree City a way of life, I believe we need effective leadership as the basic building block in order to move into the future. Following the rest of Georgia, our city experienced a recession that we are just now beginning to emerge from. Now is the time to build a solid foundation for our city to grow on. There are many exciting prospects for our city in the near future and we need a City Council to take us into the future with a "Smart Growth" plan.
I am running for Peachtree City council to bring just one more piece of cohesiveness this city needs to grow. There are several issues that need to be addressed before embarking on this endeavor of growth. The following issues are just some of the issues that are important to me.
For the past year, as a member of the Peachtree City community, I have watched the city council bickering result in important issues falling by the wayside. It seemed to me that there is a better way to solve the city's problems instead of the constant in fighting. Leadership is focusing on solutions and not who is right. I believe in order to solve our city's problems we must first stop the infighting of council.
